A clearer way into the sport.

Independent explanations for the people learning, supporting and following swimming and diving.

A resource for understanding the sport

Panther Swim & Dive Journal is an independent educational publication about competitive swimming, diving and meet-day preparation. It is designed for swimmers, families and spectators who want clear explanations of the information that surrounds a session.

The journal focuses on useful questions: how to read a heat sheet, what a course label means, what to pack and how a diving competition is organized. It also provides a glossary and a simple average pace calculator. All resources are available without an account.

About the domain

This publication operates under new ownership of hhspantherswimanddive.com. It is not affiliated with Huntsville High School, its swimming and diving teams, a booster organization or any sports governing body. The journal does not claim the former website’s team records, school identity, staff or achievements.

We do not publish official rosters, team announcements, practice schedules or registration forms. If you need current school-team information, use the school’s verified communication channels or contact the team through the school.

Understanding is different from instruction

Articles explain terminology, preparation and the spectator experience. They do not provide an individualized training plan, assess swimming ability or teach diving maneuvers. Athletes should follow qualified coaching and the instructions of the facility where they participate.
