The quick answers, clearly.
Common questions about the sport, the resources and this publication.
Is this the official Huntsville High School team website?
No. This is an independent educational publication under new domain ownership. It is not affiliated with Huntsville High School or its teams.
Where can I find current team schedules or registration?
Use the school’s verified channels or contact the team through the school. This journal does not manage team registration, practice schedules or entries.
What is the difference between an event and a heat?
An event is a race category; a heat is one group racing within it. Several heats can belong to the same event.
Is a heat sheet the same as a results sheet?
No. A heat sheet lists planned assignments and entry information. Results report completed performances through the meet’s official process.
Does the pace calculator convert yards to meters?
No. It calculates an average in the unit you select. Changing the unit label does not convert the input distance or predict an equivalent performance.
Does average pace tell me how hard to train?
No. It is an arithmetic summary of a swim. A qualified coach should guide workload and progression.
Can I learn diving maneuvers from these articles?
No. The diving content is for understanding the sport as a spectator. Practical diving instruction requires a qualified coach and suitable supervised facilities.
Are the sample heat sheets and times real team results?
No. Worked examples are clearly illustrative and do not represent athletes, qualifying standards or team records.
