Useful context. Clear boundaries.
The principles behind the journal’s guides, examples and explanations.
Explain one useful question at a time
Guides should help readers understand a concrete part of the sport. A clear definition, a worked example or a short planning routine is more useful than unexplained terminology. Content should distinguish what a spectator needs to know from what an athlete needs to learn through coaching.
Keep examples separate from records
Sample names, heat-sheet rows and calculated times are illustrative. They must not be presented as actual team results, qualifying standards or performance guarantees. The current edition does not publish athlete profiles or school records.
Use the right source for the claim
Governing-body materials provide context for rules and terminology. A school or meet organizer supplies the actual event procedures. General articles cannot establish eligibility, settle an officiating decision or replace a current meet announcement.
When a guide refers to a specific rule framework, it identifies that context. Rules from one organization should not be silently applied to every school, club or international meet.
Respect the limits of written guidance
This publication does not provide individualized training, diagnose injuries or teach unsupervised diving maneuvers. Readers should use qualified instruction and follow local facility requirements. The pace calculator reports arithmetic rather than a prescribed effort or target.
Be clear about independence
The journal is not operated by Huntsville High School or a governing body. It does not use the former domain owner’s achievements as its own. The present edition contains no paid placements, affiliate links or invented testimonials.
Protect personal information
Examples do not require identifying an athlete. Public content should not expose private training logs, young athletes’ personal details or nonpublic schedules. References to external resources should direct readers to appropriate public information.
